This was close to the time of William Penn returning to England and finding many other Quakers in jail. I think father James bought the land recorded by the Thomas and Jones Co. for fear of his Quaker family and sent them to America. I conjecture that they finally persuaded him and mother to come, but being in their 70s, the trip proved too arduous and they both died as a result.

David Morgan, descendant of Perminter Morgan (b. 1755)whose father was John Morgan, a grandson of John & Sarah, if my research is correct.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521929562053758453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-622619419609808274.post-3253992652897243932018-08-08T18:53:17.908-07:002018-08-08T18:53:17.908-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521929562053758453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-622619419609808274.post-90595151210856326152018-07-21T03:38:26.676-07:002018-07-21T03:38:26.676-07:00Hi. But then I noticed that they have "son" James Morgan Jr. living to be 111! This is obviously wrong. I searched some more and found your blog.

Do you have a genealogy tree created with your information?

I wonder at which point I can trust the family tree listed as "Descendants of James Sr MORGAN" posted on ancestry.com?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13756125536445702628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-622619419609808274.post-53134073981676081022011-02-13T00:31:49.279-08:002011-02-13T00:31:49.279-08:00I would like to share some information...regarding...I would like to share some information...regarding Evan Morgan. I have checked my line with the 1734 Landholders of Bristol Twp, PA you have listed in your blog of Nov 12, 2007. I have a connection with 9 of those listed. I am trying to locate an Evan Morgan, 1690's in Bristol, PA.Claudiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07404458193647833221noreply@blogger.com
